Juror notes: This abstract has interesting shapes with various sizes and lines. An artist can never go wrong using complementary colors—purples and yellows. Also the large round shape is surrounded by straight lines and more geometric shapes, again creating a push pull effect. My eye is drawn to the use of black, which really ties this painting together.
