The Gallery at OSA is thrilled to present the Water Media Exhibition, celebrating the versatility and expressive power of water-based media. This exhibition highlights the endless creative possibilities of water-soluble materials, from the delicate transparency of watercolor to the bold opacity of gouache and the dynamic textures of acrylic and pastel. The juror for this show is Terry Miura.

Miura
About Miura
Terry Miura began his career as a successful illustrator in New York after graduating from Art Center College of Design in 1990, working with clients like Time, Newsweek, and Random House. Between assignments, he explored painting cityscapes, which led to his first gallery show in 1995. After relocating to California in 1996, he shifted to full-time painting, focusing on landscapes and emotional expression through both representational and abstract work. His art explores memory, identity, and the delicate balance between logic and intuition. Miura’s work is represented by galleries across California and Boston and is included in public and private collections, including the Crocker Art Museum and the Smithsonian Institution.
