Juror's Note: The skillful handling of the watercolor brushwork is quite apparent here. It’s particularly the adept variety in that brushwork…the large masses contrasted with the restrained use of smaller marks, placed judiciously. The limited color palette and accuracy of values also contribute nicely to this bold statement about the landscape.
