Juror notes: This painting is perhaps more about color and shape than the hotel’s name. This artist allows us to see a bit of the architecture, but the verbiage is dominant along with the variety of colors in the background. The vegetation is not overly detailed so we can enjoy the entire scene, including the movement of the sky against the stationary building and sign.
