Juror notes: There’s a lot going on here, and the title helps us have a clearer sense of the photographer’s intent, without telling us too much. We can all relate to the dancer cowering and yet courageous in the face of a bully—whether an actual tormenter, or the voice of judgment constantly ringing in the artist’s head.
