Juror's Award: Third Place

Juror's note: Such whimsy! The artist has definitely told a story about the day at Peninsula Park. This painting is well structured, the perspective well drawn, and the mark-making superb. The color notes have both shape and texture. The bottom garden shape provides important movement within the composition. The directional rows of flowers encourage the eye to circle around the painting rather than drop off the bottom edge.
