Juror's Notes: The gentleness of this painting captivated me. Even now as I look at it again, it makes me breathe deeply and exhale slowly. The neutral gray tones echo the calm mood as if to say, “All is well”. The small amount of complementary bronze color gives just enough energy and life. The organic shapes repeated throughout the painting bring unity to the work and the dominance of soft edges again echo the mood. This painting is in perfect harmony – everything is working together for the purpose of its message. A beautiful and meaningful painting!
