Juror's Note: This artist has done everything that I feel a painter should do. The simple shapes, the strong values, even the temperature gradation form the top of the painting to the bottom, all invite the viewer into the painting and keep them interested. This shows the artistic maturity and restraint of this painter. Very well done!
