Juror's Note: This is a well contained Oriental flavored image. The composition keeps the eye wandering around and around. Contrasting textures of the sharp grass-like leaves intrude onto the layer of white heart-shaped leaves. Then the little touch of red at the bottom. All well balanced. But there’s more. Looking closer, the white leaves are in fact washed with subtle colors. The whole color pallet is subdued. My eye just wanders about the image like through a garden, all fenced in by the composition.
