Juror notes: This still life is like a poem that you read, and read again, and yet it never quite gives up its secrets. It would be a less interesting photograph except for the curious little image—what looks like a daguerreotype of two men—reflected in the glass, which makes you want to read this poem again until it reveals itself to you.
